How to relax and take care of your skin in a single routine?
Have you ever felt like a truck ran you over, twice? That’s exactly how I would probably describe a bad day. Days where I feel not only tired and exhausted, but also anxious and stressed.
As a blogger, wife and mother of two, I usually go through pretty busy days. I have always been an enthusiastic person who just loves getting the most out of my days and having fun while working or spending time with my kids. I’m passionate about everything I do, but sometimes that leaves me with little or no energy at all.
I’m not going to lie, there are definitely more good days than bad ones. But let me tell you, my bad days can be really bad and following a skin care routine is one of the things that relaxes me the most.
A warm bath, a nice and soothing body wash, a face mask, and my face creams is all I need to sleep tight to start fresh the next morning.
That’s why I want to share a relaxing routine that acts like a reset button for me.
1.It’s me time!
We all need to take a moment to be alone. And if you have kids you have probably experienced company even while in the shower.
For me, having my kids around is not an option if all I want to do is relax. So I always make sure my kids are asleep before I start any skincare routine.
Then, I play my relaxing playlist (we all have one). If you don’t have a relaxing playlist, now it’s a good time to create one.
So, if you are in for this routine, put the kids to bed and play relaxing music!
2.Take a relaxing shower
After a busy day, a warm bath or shower is always a good idea. To have the best experience when giving yourself a relaxing shower you need a good body wash.
A good body wash should soothe your skin, renew your skin and hydrate your skin. Every time you use it.

Following the face mask, I wrap up my relaxing routine with the face creams I use everyday.
Super important advice: Always remove your makeup before this step. And always remove it even if you are not using face creams yet.
We can all have a stressful day. Whether it was a rough day at work, at school, or even at home. We all experience them every other day of the week. And going to the spa every time we have a rough day isn’t always an option.
