All about #WeAllGrowLatina’s SUMMIT
On September 29, I attended the 2022 Summit organized by the WeAllGrowLatina movement. I had been wanting to go to this wonderful event for years. Tickets to this event normally sell out immediately and this year was no exception.
Tickets sold out almost as soon as they came out. Fortunately, the organizers of the event invited me as a content creator and I must admit that it was an incredible experience.
Where did the event it take place?
The event took place in the desert of Palm Springs. We stayed at La Quinta hotel. A fascinating hotel surrounded by mountains and a wonderful view.
When I checked in on Thursday, September 29, they put a bracelet on my wrist and gave me a bag full of gifts from all the sponsors of the event. Amazon, Mary Kay, Pond's, DoorDash, Disneyland, anyway. Big brands in a big event.
What did I do at the event?
The first thing I did at the event, as soon as I arrived, was to prepare for the welcome party, this party was called Divas and Goddesses Welcome Party presented by Buick.
At this party I met Ashley and Letty, the creators of my favorite podcast Se regalan dudas. I saw them and almost died. I'm super hyper mega fan of them and their podcast.
The party was sponsored by Buick and within the event they had two of their top cars on display. The singer San Cha delighted us with her beautiful voice and the DJ Linda Nuves made us dance with good music.
The best thing about the event was, without a doubt, being able to attend the Summit conferences.
More than 600 women registered to attend the conferences. Everything was perfectly organized and timed. I was fascinated with the organization of the event.
One of the things that caught my attention the most is that the event had its own app and it worked perfectly. This app helped us connect with more people who attended the event, it also gave me the opportunity to have the agenda at hand, there even was an option to set alarms before each conference, so I didn't miss any. I found it incredible.
Another thing that caught my attention was the Marketplace of the event. In this Marketplace there were some stands of women entrepreneurs who showed their products. One of my favorites was the stand of the Ecuadorian designer who lives in New York, Cindy Castro. It gave me great joy to see an Ecuadorian entrepreneur at the event.
The best experience…
The best experience I had at the event was without a doubt at the Dove station.
We were in the California desert, it was extremely hot, but the Dove station had a spectacular temperature. Perfect to relax after a long day of activities and heat.
The first thing I did was take the test to find out my skin type and find out which products are the most recommended for me.
At the event, I was introduced to the Rose Petals deodorant and I can't tell you how much I loved it. When I got home, the first thing I told my husband was that I would never try another deodorant other than that one.
In addition to that, I had an afternoon at the Spa that completely relaxed me. You guys know how I like spas and beauty, right? Well, this season was perfect for me.
Who can go to the event?
The good news is that this event is an event dedicated to empowering Latina women. Everyone can go. This year I was very lucky to get invited. But normally the tickets sell out super fast once they come out.
My recommendation is that if you want to attend next year's event, follow WeAllGrowLatina on their social media and subscribe to their newsletter.
Remember that tickets sell out very quickly, you have to be super aware and ready to buy before they run out.
This event is fascinating, if you are a Latina, an entrepreneur or want to undertake and take charge of your life, this event is for you. The people you meet are wonderful. You meet more hard-working, intelligent, entrepreneurial Latinas like you and I.
