Mickey’s Toontown is Back!
Last Saturday, I was invited to the reopening event for Mickey’s Toontown and I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this was, of course Disney never disappoints when organizing fun events.
Besides having so much fun, I need to highlight how organized the event was. We had an itinerary of the event and everything went exactly as planned. I love that about Disney, because when you have kids, the last thing you want is to walk around without knowing for sure at what time the shows are going to start. So shout out to Disney for being incredibly organized!
According to Disney’s site, “Mickey’s Toontown is among the new experiences debuting as part of the Disney100 celebration at the Disneyland Resort, which honors Disney’s 100th anniversary with new and limited-time offerings throughout the year”.
This Toontown is perfect for families and young children. Everyone will enjoy everything about Mickey’s Toontown’s attractions.
What’s new?
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a new family-friendly attraction. Olivia is 5 and Martin is 7 and they both were able to ride this attraction. So yes! Family-friendly!
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Gadget coaster is another fun attraction to enjoy with kids, and is also family-friendly. When we were discussing with my kids which attraction was their favorite, they said this one. We had the chance to ride this rollercoaster a few times. We had so much fun!
What’s back?
My All-Time Favorites, are Mickey’s House and Minnie’s House. Yes! They are back! You can go into Mickey and Minnie’s home and imagine you are one of their special guests. Kids love this, and I’m pretty sure adults do too! We loved every single detail of this house. My daughter Olivia sat in one of Mickey’s chairs right next to the chimney and we took so many pictures. It was quite an experience, this cozy home makes you feel like you are one of Mickey’s special guests.
As a mom, my favorite attractions were CenTOONial Park and Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard because there is nothing I enjoy more than watching my kids run, play, and smile. It brings me joy. Daisy Duck and other Disney characters were interacting with the kids the entire time at Toontown. They jumped and climbed the slides with all the children.
Let’s talk food! Cafe Daisy was an excellent option for one of the best hot dogs I have ever tried. One of my favorite experience was enjoying a picnic in the park. We stopped by Good Boy Grocers Market and grabbed the Perfect Picnic Basket, which included three snacks, a drink, and a blanket to enjoy with the family in the grass area. We were able to sit down and enjoy our snacks while taking some time to relax in between rides.
Now, you have a new reason to visit Disneyland. Mickey’s Toontown is amazing, fun, and family-friendly.
There are so many activities to enjoy and most importantly, this beautiful town is perfect for creating memories with your loved oneis!
